A 1998 graduate from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a double minor in Sociology and Women's Studies, Carolyn Maher began her tenure with the Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance in 2000 where she is the Director of Strategic Programs.
With the growing popularity and importance of the annual Mid-Atlantic Capital Conference, Carolyn must plan and prepare for this event to not only make improvements but to make it more successful each year. Her three main responsibilities in doing so include: leading the efforts to restructure the MACC; creating, directing and managing daily operations, activities, and program year calendar of the MACC; and managing the MAC Alliance staff's involvement in the Conference.
Before joining the MAC Alliance, Carolyn worked for the Glenn Foley WINGS Foundation and Foley Sports, Inc. where she coordinated two major events: The Glenn Foley WINGS Foundation Celebrity Invitational, and The Glenn Foley Football Camp. She was also the project leader for The New York Jets Family Cookbook and project manager for the launch of the official website.

Jennifer Cohen

Jennifer Cohen earned her Master's Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management in 2003 from Temple University and her Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and Child Care from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000.
Before joining the MAC Alliance, Jen was the Event Coordinator for the Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Charity, where she assisted in all aspects of fundraising efforts, as well as promotion and sales. Jen has also interned with the Camden Riversharks in their Community Relations and Promotions Department. Prior to that, she worked in two child related professions, one with The Defenders Association of Philadelphia where she was a Child Advocate Social Worker and the other at Childlink where she was a Service Coordinator to families in Philadelphia County for children birth to three years old with learning disabilities.
Jen joined the MAC Alliance team in 2004 where she became the Coordinator of Programs and Events. She manages all of MAC Alliance events on a day-to-day basis. She oversees the strategy and planning of each event, from concept to conclusion. She is also the Featured Company Liason for the Mid-Atlantic Capital Conference. She coordinates MACC related events such as the Sponsor Golf Outing and Kickoff Sponsorship Event. She participates in many committees such as programming for MAC Alliance, coaching, selection and recruiting for the conference.
Jen lives in North Wales, PA with her husband and their first child, Matthew Hayden.
Cheryl Jarvis-Johnson

Since joining MAC Alliance in 2000, Cheryl Jarvis-Johnson has managed a wide range of day-to-day responsibilities. Some of her duties include the annual MAC Alliance Membership drive, Administration of office policies and procedures, MAC Alliance website, and Internship programs.
Through the Business Mentoring Youth program Cheryl is responsible to help 10th grade high school students learn best practices in a corporate environment and encouraging them to take advantage of learning opportunities. She is the Liaison for the MAC Alliance Education and Venture Institute committee.
Cheryl also plays a crucial role in the Mid-Atlantic Capital Conference. A few of her most important responsibilities for the Conference are managing all aspects of event registration, creating marketing materials, and volunteer coordination and oversight.
Before joining the MAC Alliance, Cheryl's career began in Real Estate as a Property Manager for various fair markets and subsidized housing properties in Philadelphia. She then moved into the event planning industry as an office administrator for Philadelphia 2000, a non-profit, non-partisan host committee for the 2000 Republican National Convention.
