Ambassador Program
2008 MAC Conference Ambassador Program
The Mission
The MAC Conference Ambassadors Program aims to help promote the entrepreneurial and regional capital communities by connecting new attendees with current participants of the MAC Conference. These introductions will help enhance the MAC Conference and MAC Alliance communities by helping to grow the regional capital and entrepreneurial communities.
The Program
The Mid-Atlantic Capital Conference is an exciting, robust event filled with many new faces each year. As a result, the event can be challenging to navigate. MAC Conference Ambassadors will help to ease this entry and will act as hosts to those new attendees in order to help maximize their networking opportunities.
An Ambassador Request message will be sent out to the Sponsor Contacts, asking for Ambassador Volunteers from their respective offices. Messages will also be sent to the Featured Companies and participating entrepreneurs of the 2008 MAC Conference, asking if they would like to take advantage of the Ambassador Program at this year's event.
Ambassador volunteers will be paired with 'New Attendees', based on industry when possible. Introductions will be made on-line, and Ambassadors and 'New Attendees' will be invited to meet in person on December 2 at Registration and on December 3 at the MAC Conference Helpdesk.
The Requirements
MAC Conference Ambassadors will be asked to wear identifying badges or pins for the duration of the day-and-a-half Conference so that they can be easily identified to the attendees. Ambassadors will be supplied with a copy of the MAC Conference Schedule of Events, Floor plan, FAQ sheet, and their own contacts to assist with the networking and introductions of the hosted members of our community. A list of Ambassadors will also be sent to all registered attendees of the MAC Conference for added visibility.
